Our History

Welcome to Yellow Pages Kenya, a trusted name in business directories and digital marketing solutions since 1991. Our journey began as a joint venture between Telkom Kenya and Directel, a subsidiary of Portugal Telecom International. This partnership leveraged Telkom's reliable telephone network and Directel's advanced technology, laying the foundation for Kenya's most comprehensive business directory service.

1992

First Yellow Pages Directory

Launched the first Yellow Pages Directory, marking the beginning of a new era in business listings in Kenya.

1995

National Business Directory

Published the National Business Directory, catering to the growing B2B market.

1996

Total Quality Management (TQM)

Introduced Total Quality Management (TQM) to enhance service quality.

1997

ISO 9002:1994 Certification

Achieved ISO 9002:1994 Quality Management System certification, becoming the first publisher in East Africa to receive ISO certification.

2000

Online Directory Launch

Launched our online directory, www.yellowpageskenya.com, expanding our reach to the digital realm.

2004

Travel Discover Kenya Directory

Introduced the Travel Discover Kenya Directory, a comprehensive travel guide.

Superbrand Status
